Community Team
Community Midwives
Our Midwife, Nikky Wallace, runs an antenatal clinic here at the surgery on Thursday afternoons but the Community midwives are based at Withycombe clinic in Exmouth and can be contacted on (01395) 226730.
Community Nurses
The District Nursing Team continues to provide high quality care for patients who are house bound and are unable to access surgery facilities. They are integral part of the wider healthcare team, social services and other agencies. They support complex packages promoting early discharge from hospital and preventing hospital admissions. We are a pro-active team promoting innovative district nursing services, maintenance of health and wellbeing, management of chronic diseases, holistic assessment of nursing needs, care of the dying and supporting the vulnerable older person at home. Health Visitors
The Health Visiting team can be contacted on (03332) 341903.
Hospiscare
Budleigh Salterton and District Hospiscare is a local independent Charity serving those patients of the Budleigh Salterton Medical Centre and Woodbury Surgery who have a progressive life-limiting illness. Hospiscare can be contacted on (01395) 445876.
