Survey: National 'Improved Access' Scheme for GP Surgeries
NHS England are looking to introduce a new scheme that will allow you to make an appointments to see a health professional in a GP practice outside of usual working hours.

Friends and Family Test 2017 Results
The total number of completed Family and Friends Test during 2017 was 380.
96% of patients advised they would be extremely likely / like to recommend your practice to family and friends. Thank you very much - that is reallly encouraging.

FLU CLINICS - It is recommended that if you are over 65 or suffer from diabetes, asthma, bronchial problems or heart and kidney trouble you should be vaccinated annually. Any patients under 65 who are at risk will be invited by letter. If you do not receive a letter and are eligible to have the vaccination please phone to make an appointment.
NEW Devon CCG
In October 2016 began a wide-ranging consultation and engagement with the public covering proposals to improve the way the elderly and frail people are cared for locally. The consultation document has been published and is available on the CCGs website. Copies are always available to read in the practice waiting room.

- Public Health England launches ‘One You’, the first ever nationwide campaign to address preventable disease in adults

Did you know that all of our 8,000 patients have their own named accountable GP. We would like everyone to be aware who their accountable GP is.

Annual Flu Clinics 2015/2016
If you have missed the Annual Flu Clinics then please phone the surgery on 01395 441212 after 10.00am to make an appointment.
This service is available to everyone over 65. Those who are under 65 but may be at increased risk from flu will receive an invitation from the practice.
Have you received a letter from NHS England List Maintenance Team?
Firstly, it is not a scam, but a piece of work to improve the accuracy of the GP lists, NHS England are writing to a sample of patients to ask them to confirm their GP registration details.
Please be aware that if you received a letter from NHS England during March & April asking you to confirm who you are registered with and did not respond, you will be automatically de-registered unless you make contact with your surgery.
If this applies to you, please contact your surgery as soon as possible to confirm you wish to remain registered.
No Changes To Your Details:
If all details are CORRECT and there are NO CHANGES then you can:
confirm your registration details either on the phone 0800 3265270 or 0330 3332651, Register by Internet www.sbs.nhs.uk/primary-care-services/sw, text (SMS) 86006 or return the letter in the freepost envelope enclosed with the letter. The telephone number to direct patients to is 0208 536 3075.
If your address or GP practice details printed on the first page of the letter are NOT correct, return the 2nd page, completed with the correct details in the FREEPOST envelope.
